Diabetic Neuropathy
Over 20% of the diabetic population suffers from sensory loss, numbness or pain due to diabetic nerve damage (neuropathy). Genova Clinical Research, Inc. is conducting a clinical drug study investigating the safety and efficacy of two dosages of an investigational drug vs. placebo (an inactive substance) in subjects with DSPN. This study lasts approximately 25 months and has 13 visits. Qualified participants may receive study related physicals, study drug and lab work will be provided. Reimbursement is available for qualified participants.
Subjects must:
- Be 18-75 years of age
- Have type I or type II diabetes for at least 12 months
- Have diabetic sensorimotor polyneuropathy of the lower extremities
- Not have a history of diabetic foot ulcers or lower extremity amputations

Diabetic Neuropathy
Genova Clinical Research, Inc. is conducting a research study of an investigational drug versus oxycodone for the treatment of chronic, painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy. This study is open label meaning both the physician and the subject know the study drug and dose of the study drug assigned.
This study lasts approximately 54 weeks and includes 20 visits. Qualified participants will receive study medications, study related physicals, and lab work at no charge. Compensation may be available to qualified participants for each completed visit for time and travel expenses.
If you are interested in this study, you should:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have signs and symptoms of bilateral, chronic, painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy for at least 6 months in either the upper or lower extremities.
- Not have a history of cancer in the last 2 years (basal cell cancer that has been successfully treated is ok)
