Constipation

Genova Clinical Research is looking for subjects to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational drug vs. placebo (an inactive substance) for people with chronic constipation.

This study lasts approximately 16 weeks and has approximately 6 office visits.  Study-related drugs (may include placebo), lab work, and study-related physical exams are provided to participants in this study at no cost.  Compensation is available to qualified participants for each completed visit for time and travel.

Subjects interested in this study should:

• Be between 18 and 75 years old
• Have had symptoms of constipation for at least 6 months
• Have fewer than 3 BM’s per week, on average, when not taking laxatives
• Not have been diagnosed or treated for cancer in the last 5 years (treated basal or squamous cell skin cancer is ok)
