Constipation
Genova Clinical Research, Inc., is looking for subjects to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational medication versus placebo (an inactive substance) for opioid induced constipation. Constipation is a very common side effect of opioid (narcotic) medications. This study lasts approximately 10 weeks and has 10 visits. Qualified participants will receive study drug and study-related physical examinations and lab work at no charge. Reimbursement may be available for travel cost to qualified participants.
Subjects interested in this study should:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a history of chronic pain
- Be taking oral, transdermal (skin patch), IV or injectable opioids (narcotics) on a regular basis
- Have a history of constipation due to opioid use

Constipation
Genova Clinical Research is looking for subjects to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational medication versus placebo (an inactive substance) for chronic constipation. This study lasts up to 19 weeks and has approximately 7 office visits. Qualified participants may receive study medications, study related physical examinations and labwork at no cost. Compensation may be available to qualified subjects for each completed visit for time and travel.
Subjects interested in this study should:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a history of chronic constipation
- Have not been diagnosed or treated for cancer in the last 5 years (except treated basal cell or Squamous cell carcinoma)
